for a carefree stay at Hotel Val
Here you can find the general conditions, our included services and further information for a summer or winter holiday in our hotel in Selva.

Reservation
Your reservation is considered as binding only after the payment of a deposit and after our final written confirmation by e-mail.
Deposit
The payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount of your stay is required to confirm your reservation.
Tourist tax
The tourist tax of €2,10 per person (from 14 years) per night is not included in the total price of the stay and will be charged separately.
Pets
We inform our guests that we accept dogs for €9.00 per day without food.
Arrival and departure
Your room will be available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 10.00 am.
In case of arrival after 8.00 pm, please contact us in advance.
Payment
We accept payments with debit card, Visa/MasterCard credit card and in cash up to 2.999,99 €. American Express credit cards are not accepted.
Cancellation fees
The right of withdrawal as laid down in the Consumers' Code is not contemplated (notification pursuant to Part III, Section III, Paragraph I of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumers' Code)) – however, we are willing to apply the following conditions for withdrawal:
- in case of cancellation 60-30 days before the arrival date: 30% of the total amount of your stay will be charged (the deposit).
- in case of cancellation 30-7 days before the arrival date: 70% of the total amount of your stay will be charged.
- in case of cancellation in the last week (within 7 days before arrival): 100% of the total amount of your stay will be charged.
- in case of late arrival or early departure: the full amount of your stay will be charged.
Insurance
In order to avoid the above cancellation fees in case of a cancellation, late arrival or early departure, we recommend to take out travel insurance through the European Travel Insurance - click here.
Smoking
We inform our guests that it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms and throughout our hotel.
Guest pass
Upon completion of the accommodation contract, the Val Gardena Guest Pass (consequently Guest Pass) will be issued to the guest, which according to the decision of the South Tyrolean regional government No. 732/2022, is valid for the entire duration of their stay as well as from 0:00 on the day of arrival unto 24:00 on the day of departure.
The Guest Pass includes the use of all public transport within the “südtirolmobil” network area as well as additional services, which vary depending on the tourism organization. Detailed information can be found at: suedtirol-guestpass.info
The sole entity carrying the Guest Pass in South Tyrol is the Mobilitätskonsortium, appointed as the unified coordination point in accordance with the abovedecision of the South Tyrolean regional government by the Provincial Association of Tourism Organizations of South Tyrol on November 16, 2022.The details of the additional services associated with the Guest Pass and the conditions of use ofthe Guest Pass are communicated by the third party responsible for issuing and managing the Guest Pass.
